The Vegas Show Girls (and Boys) take over Dublin

April saw The Vegas Show Girls (and boys!) jet setting off to Dublin where they were invited to perform at two very prestigious events.

The first of the two events was a Great Gatsby theme event at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel which saw our Gatsby Girl dancers and vintage themed male tap dancers take to the stage with their 1920’s inspired high energy performances. Needles to say the event was a huge success and our Great Gatsby themed show left the guests shouting and cheering for more!

Our next trip to Dublin was less than a week later, this time a Parisian Glamour themed event for our Can Can dancers and Parisian showgirls. The event was held at Dublin’s City West Hotel and saw our dancers performing on a stunning catwalk as part of a charity fundraising event.

The deputy Labour leader and radio host Aidan Power rubbed shoulders with Assets models for the Freedom of Dublin Charity Fashion Show in aid of the John Giles Foundation and the Capuchin Day Centre.

Former footballers Ray Houghton and Jason McAteer also stepped out, swapped punditry for the runway as they turned on the style for a fashion show with a twist.

INM columnist John Giles and Brother Kevin Crowley, founder of the Capuchin centre, said they were delighted at the turnout at the sell-out show in Dublin’s City West Hotel that was attended by more than 600 guests.

The event was hosted and compared by former West Life singer Nicky Byrne who certainly seemed to take a shine to our showgirls!

Our can can dancers high kicked their way through the evening which was a huge success raising lot’s of money for the chosen charities. We were thrilled to be part of such a high profile event in aid of such worthy causes.
